Gayle Dunn Hurley

As a child I must have gone through stacks of cardboard left over from my dad’s neatly laundered shirts. My mother says I would entertain myself for hours coming up with different things to draw and make out of cardboard. Somehow that patience and creativity have been translated into a deep love of portraiture and most recently a great desire to paint en plein air or “out in the open” enjoying the beauty of God’s creation.
